Peak Bed - Wool Seed Bed

$15.00

100% New Zealand Wool Seed Bed

The perfect way to sow seeds with ease.

Ideal for sowing seeds of vegetables, flowers, and herbs, our wool seed bed creates a nurturing environment for young plants to thrive. Simplify your gardening routine and promote sustainable practices with our Wool Seed Bed. Perfect for gardeners of all levels and a thoughtful gift for eco-conscious friends and family.

  • Keeps seeds protected from the elements.

  • Provides optimal conditions (warmth and moisture) for most seeds to grow.

  • 12x seed inserts.

_____

How to Use (it’s as easy as 1-2-3!)

  1. Fill Peak Bed with seed raising or potting mix.

  2. Place seed into each slot and cover lightly (depending on seed needs).

  3. Water regularly.

_____

Once seeds are established there are two options:

  1. Transplant seedlings into a Peak Pot or plant directly into soil. Once transplanted, sow new seeds into the inserts and start the process again.

  2. Place Peak Bed directly onto / in soil. Roots will penetrate through the wool and continue to grow.

  3. This option is recommended after 2 - 3 months as the wool will start to naturally biodegrade.

After 2-3 months (conditions dependent) Peak Beds will start to show signs of degradation along the bottom. At this stage we recommend placing into your garden.

Top tip: You can extend the life of your Peak Bed by keeping the bottom aerated.
