Gosh… where do I even start?
This is definitely not the homepage write up I ever thought I’d be typing, but life loves a good plot twist and ours came wearing pine needles.
Floating Peaks has always been proud as punch to bring you 100% NZ-made wool goodies, crafted from the beautiful wool grown by our very own ewes in Central Hawke’s Bay. Since 2022 we’ve been turning our entire ewe clip into the gift range you know and love… until this year…
The farm we’ve been leasing has now been sold for pine trees (much like most of our road), which means no land to farm and no flock to shear. And because Floating Peaks has always been about sharing the journey of our wool from paddock to product, we’ve realised it’s time to hand the baton over to someone who loves wool as much as we do and probably someone who is a lot better gardener than us.
So from a couple of farmers who started a “little hustle” that accidentally grew legs, a personality, and a loyal following, we just want to say a massive thank you. Truly. Your support has given us the adventure of a lifetime, and we’ve loved every minute of sharing a little piece of our farm with you.
It’s not goodbye forever…
just a “see you later” from our journey and our beautiful Central Hawke’s Bay flock of ewes — the real stars of the show.
